Here is just a little about us. We have been in business since the summer of 2013. My father, Terry, the nicest, the most reliable, and the hardest working person you will ever meet, has been by my side since day one, helping me get this business off the ground. Until recently, I have struggled to find motivation and purpose in the painting business. I am a visionary and have always dreamed of doing something “big” with my life. Construction/painting was never the vision but a way of providing for my family. I have a beautiful wife, 4 kiddos, 4 ducks, 2 cats, and 1 new golden doodle. Wow right?

Where the purpose and motivation come from, to not only keep 1859 going but to grow and to be a respected company for years to come, are YOU (the customer), THEM (my team), and the VISION to get to a place where I can financially be able to start a more mission-oriented (i.e., a men’s college) or passion-filled business and move into church ministry (currently enrolled in TheosU Seminary). I have always wanted 1859 to be known for great quality and unmatched customer service/experience, which remains unchanged. I have always wanted the happiest and most motivated team, not just scraping by (no pun intended) and getting through the day. I still believe that is possible. Here’s how:

1. By cultivating a family culture and a vision to see each person on the team grow and advance
2. By establishing a company goal/vision to bless you with the best experience in the service industry and to leave your home/business as your GC/painter for life, having provided you with a job that displays the utmost attention to detail and care
3. By offering the industry the best pay and growth/advancement potential

So, in choosing us, you may pay more, but you and your home will be taken care of and loved, and you will be helping some good people to have great careers and a blessed life. It’s a win-win for all of us. Now that’s a “big” dream worth being part of.
